Chillproof Long Sleeve Full Zip

The Chillproof Long Sleeve Full Zip vest is made from Chillproof material. The fullzip design allows you to zip up for 100% warmth and protection, or zip completely down when the sun comes out, your work rate goes up or just for ease of getting on and off. It also has a high collar to keep your neck warm.

Sharkskin Chillproof is an aquatic specific, windproof 3-layer composite material that has been developed for water sports athletes.

The Chillproof Long Sleeve Full Zip vest has a comfortable ‘micro fleece’ layer next to the skin which ‘wicks’ moisture and sweat away from the body to help keep you dry. The second middle ‘technical’ layer is 100% windproof yet breathes to regulate body temperature while stopping windchill. The third outer layer is a nylon/lycra blend for abrasion resistance and 4 way stretch. It is also UV resistant for sun protection and has a durable water repellent finish (DWR) to provide a protective shell that ‘sheds’ water. The three layers of Sharkskin when combined together provide the equivalent warmth of a 2.5 to 3mm wetsuit, but unlike a wetsuit the Sharkskin Chillproof material stops windchill. Sharkskin Chillproof is neutrally buoyant, anti-microbial, odour resistant, itch resistant and machine washable.
