Observations: New pallasite classification. Beautiful morphology, relatively affected by desert sandblasting, leaving the olivines looking really pretty, this is a complete specimen with a nice shape.
It has already been classified by the meteorite classifier PhD Daniel Sheikh (Portland State University, USA). The classification has already been submitted to the Meteoritical Bulletin Database, and is pending approval by the Nomenclature Committee. The provisional number has been assigned: NWA 14208.
The officially declared TKW for this classification is just under 70g in small and medium individuals. Later, the same supplier contributed with more material from the same strewnfield and with the same appearance. It is the same material, which however is also being classified by the same specialist to add an additional 350g to the main mass and make an official paring. This 40.89g belong to the additional mass.
The authenticity of this specimen is guaranteed by the Geologist J.A.Poblador, member of the Global Meteorite Association G0043 and IMCA 5681, and main mass holder of this meteorite.
